Riding with Kids – The Dutch Do it Right
Posted: November 3, 2010 Filed under: Cycle Chic | Tags: EuroChic, Family, Photos 3 Comments »With a new niece added to the family and several friends who are pregnant and love to bicycle, I’ve been taking a look at the different options out there for carting baby around! While here in America, it seems everyone goes first for the seat on the back of the bike (is it safer?), the Dutch go for the front of the bike seat, which I think I would do too. So here’s a great example of BOTH from the blog Dutch City Bike. How great is this? If you want to know where to get a front baby seat, this company, Bobike, has some adorable ones.
Thanks Dutch City Bike for the great photo! If you want to read more, hop on over to their site.

We’re glad you found our site – and thanks for the links!
We were impressed by this biker, and kids. Looks how comfortable they look!
Also, notice the ultra-low bar for easy on&off on this lady’s bike. Love it!

Great bike and I love the idea of hanging a buggy off the back. We are involved in children learning to ride early using balance bikes, that way everyone gets a bike each and some independance, but I can see the advantages of this
What a great idea…thanks for sharing. Goes to show that there are ways you can bring your baby with you on your bike. Hopefully it inspires people to think outside the box.
